Manuscript length should be 4 to 20 pages based on the quality of contents. Journal of Emerging Trends in Scientific Research(JOETSR) can exceptionally accept shorter or longer manuscripts. The contents in the section heading should be presented in the following way.
Article Title
- Put the title under the top margin. The title should be in 14-point Times New Roman Bold.
- The first letter of the first word and of all major words must be capitalized, major words must start with a capital.
Authors name and addresses
- The authors’ names (11-point Times New Roman) and affiliations should be typed in 10-point Times New Roman.
Include all the author’s names with the name of their department, college / university / industry, state, city, and country. Also list the email addresses of all the authors and make a star for the corresponding author.
Abstract (12-point Times New Roman)
- Should not exceed 300 words. Typed in 10-point Times New Roman
- Provide a brief summary of the contents of your paper. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the key results and conclusions.
- Uncommon abbreviations should be avoided. If needed, they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract.
- References are excluded.
Keywords (12-point Times New Roman)
- Authors have to provide 4 to 6 keywords.
- The keywords should be typed in 10-point Time New Roman and each keyword must be separated with a comma
Introduction
The introduction section should provide the significance of the author’s study. It can contain literature background, model and objectives.
Literature
In this section author’s should list the publication and summarize with the pros and cons. They can explain the findings by tabular/graphical representation also. Findings can be in a separate section.
Materials and methods
- The methods should be described in sufficient details about the preparations of solutions, chemicals, data collection, flowchart and the instrumentation.
- The make, the numbers, and the model of the instruments should be mentioned.
- The method for statistical analysis and the level of significance chosen shall be clearly stated.
Result
Detail results and analysis should be included in the results section. Results should be understandable and real. It contains a series of figures and tables which can be described in detail. The figures and tables should support the declaration by the authors and embellish the new insights. The discussion section can be included in the result section or in a separate section.
Discussion
- This part must describe the implication of the results, the logical statements in support of the findings of the author.
- There must not be repetitive statement of conclusion.
- The author may write the applications and the importance of the work to peer-researcher and society
Conclusions
- This section is where authors could describe the summary of the work and highlight of finding in this work.
- The content should not repetitive with discussion.
- The references should not be included
Acknowledgements
- The acknowledgement should be concise and must be written about the original supporters of the work and funding agency
Conflicts of interest
All potential conflicts of interest must be stated within the text of the manuscript, under this heading. Please state “The authors have no conflicts of interest to declare” if no conflicts exist.
References
JOETSR uses the sequential numbered citation, and respective ordering should be maintained on the list at the end of the manuscript. It should be arranged in the order of citation in text. The Vancouver system of referencing should be used. Only published and “in press” references should appear in the reference list.
- Please be sure to format all references as follows:
- The first six authors’ names plus “, et al.” can be used in case of more than six authors. The title of the reference, only the first letter of the first word in the title of a reference needs to be capitalized except for the letters and words that are originally capitalized.

- An appendix contains information that is not essential to understand the paper, but may be proved useful for further clarification.
Authors Biography
- All authors should include biographies with photos at the end of the paper. The first paragraph may contain a place and date of birth. Next, the author’s educational background is to be listed. They have also penned down their professional membership, current position in the professional job, publications, achievements and research areas, etc.
Figures and Tables
- Except for abbreviation(s) and acronym(s), only the first letter of the first word in the figures and tables caption needs to be capitalized. Figures and tables must be numbered separately. The caption for a figure appears below the figure; for a table, above. Do not be afraid to use lengthy figure and table captions better that than confusing or incomplete ones.
- If your figure or table is essentially the same as or based on another author, but you recreated or adapted it, in this case provide proper citation of the source. The most logical place for the citation to appear is at the end of the caption
